What the source establishes

Zeabur describes compromised internal credentials and access paths involving shared infrastructure, dedicated servers and stored environment data, with different levels of certainty. Its separate shutdown notice sets December service deadlines. Customers therefore need both an incident response and a verified exit plan.

Where the evidence stops

Do not apply a finding from one infrastructure category to every tenant. A migration deadline does not settle whether exported data or credentials are trustworthy.

Use this report as a dated interpretation. A vendor notice establishes what that vendor reports; a research observation establishes what the researcher observed. Neither automatically answers the account-specific question for your business. Record later changes to the source before relying on its versions, deadlines or recovery sequence.

Establish your own scope

Map each service to its hosting category and incident evidence. Identify data exports, credentials, deployment definitions, domains and scheduled tasks needed to recreate the business workflow independently.

  • Identify the exact service, artifact, account or device relevant to your business, with a responsible owner.
  • Record whether the source applies to that asset and what evidence supports the match.
  • Separate evidence of exposure, evidence of activity and evidence of business impact. Leave unanswered questions explicitly open.

What would change the assessment?

Test independent recovery, compare record counts and representative transactions, validate DNS and scheduled jobs, and obtain business acceptance before ending access to the old environment.

Revisit the decision when the provider changes scope, a new account-specific notice arrives or local evidence contradicts the current assumption. Preserve the earlier conclusion and the reason it changed. Do not silently turn a precaution into a confirmed breach, or an absence of telemetry into proof of safety.

Decision checkpoint

Approve exit only when the replacement supports essential operations, the data exceptions are understood and the business can operate without the departing provider.
