Your priority is to establish what ran, what it could access and what can now be trusted. Preserve logs and artifact hashes, verify deployed versions and dependency provenance, and follow incident-specific containment and credential-rotation instructions. Use clean systems for recovery and check downstream access rather than stopping at the first exposed key. For a commerce migration, make data mappings reproducible, reconcile orders and inventory, test integration permissions and failure paths, and rehearse rollback. Record the evidence another engineer would need to repeat the recovery.
