Priority is conditional on actual exposure. An asterisk highlights especially conditional exposure; these are editorial judgments, not CVSS scores.

What the report establishes

GitLab discloses CVE-2026-110264, a regular-expression compiler integer overflow that can allow unauthenticated server code execution under certain conditions, rated CVSS 10.0. Other fixes cover identity linking and OAuth/OIDC discovery. GitLab.com and GitLab Dedicated are reported patched.

Impact and potential reach

Affected self-managed GitLab CE/EE installations and the source code, CI credentials and deployments they can access. The advisory is evidence of vulnerability and remediation, not a confirmed customer-breach total.

Required actions

Platform owners: follow the supported upgrade path to 19.5.1, 19.4.3 or 19.3.6 as appropriate. Specific RCE backports also exist in 19.2.9, 19.1.9, 19.0.10 and 18.11.13; these do not imply every other fix is backported. Account for migrations and downtime. Review the published crash/render-error detections and investigate signs of compromise.
