Trace the exposure path
Map the Studio’s access to source repositories, cloud roles, model providers, databases and artifact stores. Include machine and service credentials beyond the user’s interactive login.
Build a small evidence map from the initiating dependency to the identities, business data and operations it can reach. Include indirect consumers and scheduled work. An inventory entry describes a possible path; activity logs and other account evidence are needed to establish what happened on that path.
Collect the right evidence
- Assign downstream investigation and revocation ownership for each connected service.
- Rebuild the required job with narrowly scoped credentials and verified source inputs.
- Record asset identifiers, artifact or configuration versions, permission scope, evidence dates and the owner of each unresolved question. Do not include secret values.
Control and repair
Follow the vendor’s credential guidance and preserve account-specific notices and relevant logs. Identify which connected services need restriction or review under the incident plan.
Restore work in a verified environment using independently scoped access. Re-establish required connections only after the owners of the downstream accounts approve them.
Prove the boundary
Demonstrate revocation at the credential issuer and review downstream access. Test that a rebuilt workspace can perform its approved job without recovering broad historical access.
Use positive tests for the business function and negative tests for the access that should now be denied. Record which environment was tested and whether it represents production. Do not treat a successful login, clean homepage or healthy infrastructure graph as a substitute for an authorization or integrity test.
Engineering handoff
A reproducible job definition, input/output validation and credential-transition evidence.
A connection-by-connection recovery register and approved restart sequence.
Acceptance gate
Resume the workflow after both the platform path and the connected-account remediation have documented acceptance.
